Agrofito was founded in March 1977 by Agricultural Engineer Ademar Antonio de Toledo in the city of Matão, state of São Paulo in Brazil. The Toledo Family has a tradition in agriculture since the 1870’s and Mr. Ademar has always worked in close relationship with farmers and local rural producers having first-hand knowledge of their needs.
Mr Ademar was born in the Rancharia Farm in the Municipality of Tabapuã. After pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering, he dedicated his life to building a network to provide agricultural supplies and the best possible service to rural producers.
This quintessential origin gave birth to the Company’s deeply held principles of integrity, humility, hard work and community ties in an environment where a man’s word is his bond.
